Well composed and very lyrical, this piece is really enjoyable and could be perfectly used for recital or contests. Joseph Edouard Barat (1882-1963) composed numerous pieces for winds and Piano accompaniment such as 'Andante and Allegro' or 'Introduction and Dance', among many others.
