Students will find the back-and-forth action between the hands in this piece fun and exciting to play. Contrasts between staccato and legato passages abound, but rhythmic and melodic repetition will make the solo easy tolearn. Written in A minor and in 4/4 meter, it will serve as a great introduction to toccata style.
